Drew Caldwell started this petition to Bend City Council

I just read the most depressing article, a family evicted from their home because city law is unjust.

As a growing city were getting cramped for spaced why not embrace smaller houseing? Not only can we save on land space we can reduce the cost of living for those of us working stiffs who cant afford 1200+ bills a month for rent on a one bedroom apartment.

Face it Bend has a Housing problem im working full time, and its nearly impossible to find an afordable apartment to rent. Thats working 40+ hours a week to! How can we expect someone working a full time minumum wage job to live off their income?

Can we petition to adjust the law to embrace the different, and small homes. More importantly to allow this family to move back home.
