Limit the cost of life saving drugs

Many families cannot afford life saving drugs (for example: seizure prevention medicine or memory saving medicine) as they cost around $2000-3000 per month.
This will save/improve the quality of living for thousands, maybe millions of people if some legislation is passed limiting the price of important medicine. Although insurance companies can cover part of the cost for medicine, many people do not have the privilege to have such, and the current price of many pharmaceuticals are just too high.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/12/12/cancer-financial-problems_n_6302704.html here is a story on a breast cancer survivor who cannot afford life saving medicine afterwards. It's heartbreaking and needs to be changed.
Hepatitis C drugs cost over $1000 per bottle
Cystic Fibrosis takes up to $300,000 per year
Cancer drug Revlimid costs up to $150,000 a year
Poor parents cannot afford medicine to save their babies or themselves.
This is not saving lives, this is using human lives to make money.

Thousands maybe millions of people, each day are suffering. Not from an unknown cause, but from the lack of proper medicine. Because of the high prices of pharmaceuticals, many mid-to lower class citizens are unable to afford proper medical care. Many also do not have the privilege of insurance which may take part of the burden. Please propose a bill, or any sort of legislation placing an upper threshold for the prices of life saving drugs.
