Convince the Bellevue School District to not cut Tara Jones from her role as Research Technology Specialist as a result of their failure to properly allocate money. Tara Jones is currently the Instructional Technology Curriculum Leader at IS and is in charge of helping Teachers and Substitutes with there Technology issues. However there is currently also no RTS which was Tara's job and the Tech Specialist Jess Albrecht is split between 2 schools. So Tara is substituting sometimes when teachers at IS are out of the building in addition to training all the substitutes and helping both teachers and students at IS with Technology when Jess is out of the building. Tara Jones has been at IS for the past 7 years. However, this issue is beyond just Tara Jones, this cut affects every Research Technology Specialist (RTS) across the district (Bennett, Megan W; Early, Aron D; James, Lesley C; Jones, Tara N ; Lander, Jens B; Leckie, Allyson E; Lizotte, Leslie A; Pickering, Maria E; Yaeger, Amy L). Please know that this cut was cut by the Superintendent and School Board NOT the Principals.
