I have been scammed by rogers with no repercussions from the company, now if were to steal 200 from some person and do it again the next month for fake charges used I could go to jail but now they are trying to completely control the Canadian industry.

It's 2019. We need to be able to pay fair prices for decent internet. The price per Megabit is criminal and seemingly entirely random ($75 for 5 Megabit or $150-$200+ for a Gigabit) It's either that or go with yet another company with equally inflated prices and equally awful service. We need companies that provide fair, sort of "per megabit" pricing (i.e if a Gigabit connection costs $100-$200 then a 250 megabit connection should cost $25-$50. Other countries have average prices for those kind of speeds even cheaper than the prices I just recommended. I won't even get into the "security deposit fees", capped bandwidth for downloading, installation fees or the cost of cell phone contracts and the INSANE price per gigabyte for their data plans. It's highway robbery and the CRTC should be just as ashamed as the Telecom companies who are consistently ripping us off with these prices. Well, the ones who can afford these prices to begin with...

Clinton, what’s your service like? Do you mainly stay in Urban areas? As a traveler I’m dependent on my phone for work thus I have to have a network that offers services in the USA as well as Canada. You could be correct either way, but the moral of the story is unfair un just Pricing is out of control.

I think that the big three need to adjust their pricing in line with the rest of the world. But you do have options from other companies, I pay $45/mth for unlimited data, calls in Canada, texting anywhere, and calls to the USA. Yes, that's all unlimited

The time for fair and competitive pricing is long overdue. We need to bring communication pricing back in control for Canadians and stop this outrageous race to the sky.

For far to long families have been hand cuffed by the need to stay connected and the struggle of balancing our wallets to do it. Long contracts, over priced phones ,extremely high cancellation fees, extreme overages, malicious plan pricing! The current plans and monopoly here in Canada has to stop.....those who say they do not throttle do in fact do it they just don't tell ya cause they don't have too.... Remember who really gives you a weekly pay checks many have come and failed so can the big names!!!!!
