I have lived in my community of Chalk River for over 18 years. Since I have lived here the Bell Canada lines have not been upgraded. When I had a landline, anytime it rained I could not get a dial tone because of the constant crackle. Therefore we could never call or recieve calls. I no longer have a landline. My internet is not that great because of this problem as well. I had bell as an Internet service provider but was charged over $100 for fiberoptic lines but I don't have fibreoptic cables coming to my house. I am now with another service provider that uses Bells lines but I get the same problem. Slow or no internet because the lines are crap. My service provider has contacted Bell on several occasions and even the Bell technicians say they won't spend the money to change the lines.  Bell tells me because I don't have an account with them they can't do anything about it. That it's up to my service provider to provide me with better service. My service provided has contact Bell about this problem and whem Bell comes out they play with the lines and thats it. I am done with getting an excuse that we live in a secluded area. With today's technology we should be able to get better service than what we do.  There has been no line upgrades in this area for the past 18 years. Let's get new Bell Lines in our community. Are you tired of crappy service. Help me get this done.
