We are the homeowners of Amelanchier ct. in Bel Air Maryland, and members of the Country Walk Association.  We have enjoyed 24 years of peaceful residence in Bel Air South.  One of the most beneficial aspects of our quiet community is its tranquil setting.  Our small neighborhood is surrounded by trees and grassy areas.  The privacy and peacefulness these features provide are one of the main reasons our community members have invested in their homes.  We are asking you to help us protect our residence by saving our trees!  Half of the homes on Amelanchier Court are backed by a small tree lined hill that currently provides separation between our existing homes and a development slated for construction.  We are petitioning the Planning Commission to require the developer (building new townhomes behind our property) to retain our tree line and protect the ecology and privacy of our neighborhood.  Take our trees, and you reduce our property value and our quality of life we enjoy in our homes.  We believe any new homeowners would also benefit and appreciate the privacy our tree line provides.
