In Britain, Baseball is barely present. Only about 10,000 people actually play it regularly compared to the more than 65 million people who live here, and the more than 3 million who watch and play football. 

I think it would be a sport that would flourish if it were allowed to, which is why I'm proposing that Lincoln be the second UK city(And the first outside of london, which has the ONLY dedicated field in the country as of late) to have a dedicated Baseball field, one that isn't shared by cricket or football, and that it could benefit the city by promoting a sport that gives players a great workout while also being fun to be a part of, and it would also create a huge opportunity to promote fitness as well as wellbeing. There's nothing to lose by having one in the city.
