Beavercreek YMCA is extremely important for families of Beavercreek. It provides very important services for the whole community, from the youngest kids to the elderly: day care and summer camps, enrichment classes, fitness lessons, sports classes, programs for the senior citizens. Its loss will have a devastating effect on the quality of life in our community. Beavercreek YMCA and its facilities must remain open to the public, not become a private club serving only a narrow group.

Letter to
Mayor, Beavercreek City Council Mrs. Vicki Giambrone
Vice Mayor, Beavercreek City Council Mr. Jerry Petrak
As reported recently in Dayton Daily News, Beavercreek YMCA is about to close its doors to the public. This facility is extremely important for families of Beavercreek. It provides vital services for the whole community, from the youngest kids to the elderly: day care and summer camps, enrichment classes, fitness lessons, sports classes, programs for the senior citizens. Its loss will have a devastating effect on the quality of life in our community. Members were not informed about YMCA's financial troubles and were not asked for help. Instead, the management conducted negotiations to sell the property in secret. Beavercreek YMCA and its facilities must remain open to the public, not become a private club serving only a narrow group. Please help stop the sale and closure of the Beavercreek Y.
