How many people who are diagnosed with severe disabilities struggle with going up the stairs, or just with having to exert a lot of energy for them to go up the stairs? A lot. Due to their health conditions, they have to deal with this kind of hardship pretty much every day.

And this is why our group, The WeAreATeam, have chosen a wheelchair lift as a project. We want to be able to show them and help them feel that they can also help themselves, even with their severe conditions, because not everyone in the world with severe disabilities has the opportunity to do that or feel that way. 

Our group will be aiming to create an infographic & petition about how a wheelchair lift or a disability lift could help people with disabilities benefit from it. After gathering sufficient information, we will post this through Facebook groups and blog sites, as this will help promote the project.

A lift for a project will cost a large amount of money, so the budget invested in this project will be expensive, as this will include all the material parts for the lift and the payment for those who will install the lift. The amount of expense may seem overwhelming, but this is what our group aims for: to help bring assurance to those who feel unsafe and uncomfortable and somehow help change their lives.
