As we all know, the National Election is bound to happen on May 9, 2022. Since the said date is fast-approaching, and as some of our citizens or kababayans will exercise their right to vote, I am hoping that each one of us will exercise our right to vote by voting for the right and appropriate set of aspiring candidates for the different positions in our government. Knowing the essence of fact-checking is vital in one’s aspect of decision-making also.

Again, the 2022 National Elections are heading close towards our doorstep and several politicians revealed their names to the masses and spoke their whole-hearted initiative to serve the people. However, these so-called politicians are sometimes driven by a certain agenda cloaked behind their superficiality. Now is the time for us to be critical about their intentions for we should not be deceived – as evil company corrupts good habits (1 Corinthians 15:33). One should look at the glimpse of someone’s past as we should not let history repeat the preceding generations who suffered from the malpractices of other officials.  

With regards to the aforementioned statement, one of the prevalent social issues happening in our country is Corruption. This problem is unfavorable, and we should start to resolve and address it in a step-by-step manner. We may attain this ambition by working together, being open to all suggestions, and believing in the capabilities of one another. I am hoping that you sign this petition as we combat the prevalence of corruption in our country as one.
