The new rule for the ball is that we are only allowed to bring one person to the ball. Now why is this?

For decades, Raglan Area School has thrown the best ball of the year. A night of everyone's lives that they do not want to miss. Along with this spectacular night, the school tradition of being able to bring two people has let more people experience this night of fun, dress ups, singing, dancing, and laughter. Not only this, the more people attending this event, the more money and funding we can get to create an even better experience. This will also be beneficial because the school will make greater profit from the ball which can be put towards any funding for the rest of the year (which we all know we need).

Last year, we were sadly only allowed to bring one person due to COVID. A lot of people were sad about this unfortunate circumstance as we had no choice due to COVID regulations. Now that we are pretty much free of COVID and are no longer under strict regulations, we have this choice, so why aren't we using it to make this the BEST NIGHT OF OUR LIVES!?!?!?!

Think about all those people that had been previously informed that they were allowed to bring two of their most favourite people and how they would feel now with this news. Think about the people who have already invited two of their friends and are now left to decide between the two. Now that is just sad! Think about the people who have been invited and have already bought their dresses/suits and are getting everything ready to have the best night of their lives.
