Coach Morley was given a 4 game suspension from the FHSAA following the loss to Ft. Myers Canterbury in the Regional Finals. The BCS administration and the athletic dept. decided that the FHSAA punishment was not harsh enough and decided to take it upon themselves to increase the punishment. He was given a full year suspension for next year's season. Coach Morley knows what he did was wrong and takes full responsibility for his actions. However, Coach Morley was fighting for his players and believes he stood up for them in the face of injustice. While Coach Morley dealt with some similiar adversity 2 full seasons ago, up until this most recent issue, he had a clean sheet when it came to cards and disciplinary issues. Coach Morley has suggested that he undergo a mentor-ship program or some type of other training program to ensure that this never happens again. Coach Morley has pleaded with the administration to show grace and mercy, as he has poured countless hours into the lives of his players. We ask that Coach Morley's suspension be reduced to half of a season and that he undergo a mentor-ship program, so he does not miss out on an entire season with next year's seniors. We ask that you sign this petition and show your support for Coach Morley.
