Alot of people don't realize the BC government awarded the reservation system to a American company called E Direct. Apparently we need America to reserve a campground. Sad!
I heard so many complaints while I camped, from campers and park attendants. The Campground full sign was outrageous, because there were empty sites.

There are 3 provincial parks on Vancouver Island have these massive
Trailers all set up, that you can rent
minimum 3 night stay @ 180.00 per night. So many people found this disturbing.

Shouldn’t need a computer to enjoy our parks. I believe they should all be FCFS, and if you find a campground with Some FCFS they are all by a road, all the reserved are by a river or lake and some even sit empty with reserved on them.

Empty sites but campground is marked full. I can't plan 4 month in advance.

Due to career demands and working away, my family doesn't have the ability to reserve. Unfortunately so many unoccupied reserved sites have taken the opportunity away from too many families.

This is a horrible system. Totally unfair and has taken the fun out of loading up on a weekend and taking off. What’s even more frustrating is how many empty spots there are.

I think it's unfair that most people that want to enjoy this beautiful park in their own hometown can barely get a spot to camp. Not everyone has the luxury of booking in advance. With the new system, it's very difficult.
