Something needs to be done about low water levels throughout the entire area sooner than later. Forward the petition, everyone. Thank you.

What is happening in B.C.? The government seems to be losing their 'natural' mind set. B.C. is a beautiful province, soon to be losing its beauty because the government allows the cutting down of trees, paving paradise & putting up parking lots. Kikomun Creek Provincial Park and Western Painted Turtles are all impacted by the loss of the water source that feeds the local aquifer system. The BC Ministries have the authority to order its restoration. I ask the B.C. government officials to order the restoration of water to Kikomun Creek Provincial Park and the Baynes Lake and Elko area.

I walk in Kikomun Park daily and see first hand the shockingly low levels of Surveyors, Engineers, Stink and Fischer lakes. I'm concerned about the effect on turtles, fish and birds. I wonder if animas who drink from these lakes are affected by the receding shorelines. I'm also very concerned for my friends and neighbours who have lost or could lose their domestic well capacity.

I am signing as this is important. We spend most of the Summer there and Baynes Lake is becoming a sewer with the loss of water. Also, the pond by our place where the turtles used to go has dried up. Wildlife is important.
