Ban plastic bags and styrofoam packaging in BC

There are alternatives to plastic bags in markets, as well as for styrofoam packaging used widely for take-out food or drinks, and in supermarkets for meats and eggs.
These are not collected by the home recycling service, and only a few people bother to separate them and take them to a recycling station; so, the majority goes to landfills and contributes to widespread plastic pollution.
Many places around the world have banned these kinds of plastics, so our province should be more consistent with its slogan "Super, Natural British Columbia".
