Enforce engine breaking restrictions and reduce the Speed limit to 70 KMH on Highway 9.

As most of the community in Agassiz that is adjacent to the highway are residential senior communities, and Engine breaking (Jake Breaks) should not be required if trucks adhere to the legal speed limit of 80 kmh, which many do not. The continuous stream of traffic results in sound levels approaching at at times greater than 95 db, far above acceptable levels
At times, it is impossible to conduct a conversation with people 3 feet away from you, and makes sleeping very disturbed as many truck-trailer combinations speed through this area and utilize engine breaking to avoid collisions with vehicles turning onto McDonald and Morrow Roads.
More "No Engine Breaking" signage, coupled with increased enforcement and a reduction of speed to 70kmh from Seabird Island to the Agassiz-Rosedale Bridge, matching the current limit near the intersection of Haig Highway and McDonald Road should reduce vehicular noise to acceptable and healthier levels.
