There were 3 cases in apartmnt, Klassik benchmark, Bannerghata Road. One resident got detected followed by his wife and daughter (they were asymptomatic) and they were in hospital, and this is 12 to 14 days back. They are negative now. BBMP made the aprtmt containment zone since then and upon doing rt pcr tests for all residents, another 5 ppl are positive and they have mild symptoms n are in their house. BBMP extended the containment period from 7 days to another one week today, not allowing maid and no external vendor entry. There are kids and sr citizens in the complex, some offices, schools are opened, exams going on for many, and residents are into too much panic and into unwanted trouble only for few cases. Upon requesting management committee, they are telling all rules are imposed from BBMP. Everyone is requesting to allow maid and be normal but ofcourse maintain COVID protocols. Infected families are anyway isolated. We have to learn to live with this. Each time for 2 to 3 cases everyone cannot go through the same trauma. So please do not put other residents into trouble and request BBMP to lift the containment zone. Allow maids please.
