The people of Northern Ireland have gone through a lot and are struggling to find a way to agree a constructive, inclusive way forward. However, the media and in particular the BBC through Nolan and various Radio Ulster programming are giving excessive broadcasting time to a very divisive individual - Jim Allister.
Jim's party, the TUV received only 3,282 votes in the last election. He therefore represents a very small group and as such his polarising views should not be given such a platform. Whilst his trolling may gain ratings and inflate Nolans ego, surely the BBC have a duty of care not to incite division? We ask that his appearances are curtailed to a minimum (like his votes) and an effort is made to give more time to people who better represent the electorate.
