0 have signed. Let’s get to 500!
In Greater Manchester the borough of bury , Radcliffe. They are proposing to build a further 400 homes. After tearing down the radcliffe civic hall and building houses their they would like to build on grounds of a former papermill East Lancashire Papermill.
Not only is their no high school in Radcliffe, tram fares have recently gone up in price for children to go to school.
It would also cost more strain on the roads in Radcliffe. As we know it is a commuter town and the desired plans would put pressure on the following routes around the town centre spring lane, cross lane, church street.
Their is no guarantee that the proposed 25% of houses set aside for first time buyers from the local area would even be viable.
If this petition is successful we could approach the local council with alternative solution.
Everyone who lives and drives through radcliffe will be affected.
