Petition Against BBC EastEnders in Regards to the Copyright Strikes of YouTube Videos

Since 1985, the BBC soap opera EastEnders has tackled many important and controversial issues that are still relevant today. But they also file many copyright strikes and have been known to take down video channels dedicated to praising the soap. The show has its' own YouTube channel, but has not uploaded any videos since 2014. And since then, there have been a number of important issues raised in the soap, such as Linda Carter's harrowing rape storyline and Stacey Fowler's postpartum psychosis. My hope is that with this petition the BBC will realise that it has been left up to the viewers to make sure that these storylines are available to future generations.
