End the BBC distinction between "Sport" and "Women's sport"

For as long as I can remember, female sports teams have been reported upon on by the BBC and others with the prefix "Women's", e.g. Women's Football, Women's Cricket.
This distinction serves to downgrade the importance of women's sport because it separates the given sport from the male counterpart and creates the belief that it is second best.
Never do we read Netherlands 3 - 0 England and assume it was the women's team. When we're told Player X is the first to reach the semi-final since 1974, a woman's recent success is often overlooked.
Simply by adding Men's to male sports, the BBC can make a step in the right direction to providing an equal platform to Women's sport, without which, women in sport are not getting the recognition they deserve. Football is football regardless of who is playing.
I hereby call on the BBC to make this small change to their media and send out a powerful message that the corporation takes gender equality seriously.
This small step can be the start of wider recognition and interest in women's sport, and hopefully greater media coverage, leading to investment so desperately needed.
Please sign and share. It will make a difference to women's sport at all levels, including your female family and friends.
