David Warden started this petition to BBC and ITV

I believe that Brexit is an act of national folly  with potentially tragic and catastrophic consequences, and for which only 37% of the electorate voted in the referendum.
On behalf of the millions who voted to Remain and the further millions who did not vote at all in 2016, the main arguments for and against Brexit must be addressed and clearly presented in the run up to this election.  The most helpful occasion when this can happen, potentially reaching the greatest audience, will be during the leaders’ debates on television.

Given the seriousness and complexity of the Brexit question, and its centrality in the forthcoming election, it is irresponsible for the two main broadcasters to decide to limit discussion to Mr Johnson (Leave - get Brexit done) and Mr Corbyn (not sure, we’ll see how things go).  This will present the electorate with a very limited and biased account of the central issue of our times.  It seems essential that the arguments, and pros and cons for leaving with or without a deal, or not leaving at all, are properly aired. I therefore strongly urge the BBC and ITV to reconsider their cast list for the leaders’ debates.
