Temple, Texas has been affected by childcare shortages just like the rest of the nation. This is a complicated problem that involves childcare worker shortages, issues in affordability, and issues in availability. I propose we use available space in the Temple Mall for a childcare facility for hospital employees. If we pool the resources currently available (subsidies, etc.) with financial support from Baylor Scott & White, we can create a solution for affordable childcare! This petition is needed to gain more support from Baylor Scott & White!
