Bay Creek Middle School, Gwinnett, Georgia: Stop discriminating against non-custodial fathers with joint legal custody

As a concerned father I take my interest in my children to heart. My child was recently called the "n" word at school. Her mother notified me nearly 48 hours after the event and did not respond to my request for additional information. I contacted the school, spoke to one of the administrators and simply requested that I'm contacted anytime there is administrative involvement with my child. I let the administrator know that I need to rely on the school because their mother does not inform me in a timely manner and it's important for me to know whats going on as a father so that I can parent effectively. I was told that they will only contact the custodial parent and my concerns as a loving father were fully dismissed.  Instead, I was advised that I would just have to trust that administrator to handle the situation.  I'm sorry, but I don't trust my kids into the hands of people I don't know.  How do I trust someone that cannot show me the respect to communicate with me so that I can guide and coach my kids as a concerned father?  Why is it so difficult to do something so simple that is clearly in the best interest of the child?  Additionally, I've left 3 messages over 2 days with the principal and no response.  I'm sure he is busy, but so am I.  In fact, if we compare calendars, I would bet that my schedule is busier as I don't have a full staff to manage my day.  The common courtesy of a return call seems to be too difficult for those with salaries that I help fund.  Not acceptable.  I've simply asked Bay Creek Middle school to help me as a concerned father. Why is it so difficult to have my rights as a father acknowledged for trying to do the best for my kids? The discrimination against non-custodial fathers and parents needs to needs to stop.
