The Citizens of Bay City want an accurate portrayal of talent in original works of art made here in our hometown, and through its strong passion for music.

When our town has a large touring act like " Here Come The Mummies" we find it extremely crucial to our image outside of ourselves, and within the realm of our cultural identity, that we represent it with local original talent, and songwriting.

We find it under par to have a cover band represent our towns talent. With the huge selection of original music, it seems lazyand a misrepresentation of what we have to offer here to put a cover band as an opener for such a mega talent such as the mummies.

It is not within the desire to shame cover bands, or those that have opened up for the mummies in the past, but rather to show cause and to pass the torch to the constantly blooming pool of talent in original music born from and through bay city Michigan.

Fangs n twang are an original 3 piece band with a high energy monster monster-themed blues rock  roll. Lots of Bay City history in their blood, Extremely talented and well put together, they bring fun, joy, and amazing original content to their shows. Everyone will dance. /<3
