To the Advisory Board of Bay Area Prabasi and all members,

We the dedicated and active members of Bay Area Prabasi, would like to bring to your attention that we have lost all faith on the current Board officials, for failing to execute their duties as responsible officials.

There has been discrimination made between members and volunteers which is leading to alienation. The Board is not inclusive of all members and also the officials are showing disrespect to long term well wishers of Bay Area Prabasi. 

Non Transparency of major decision making like membership fee hikes during this pandemic and disregarding the senior members decision regarding the By-Laws and a proper election process as per the existing By-Laws 

Prabasi is an esteemed organization and a family away from home for all bengalis here. We have been together for ever. It is a membership driven organization and all members make Prabasi what it is today. All are Volunteers here, but recently the Board Officials have been treating the volunteers very disrespectfully and have driven them out. The new Board of Directors do not respect the sentiments and feelings of all the dedicated members and  the volunteers, irrespective of their age.

We want to bring in a NO Confidence motion against the Current Prabasi Board, requesting to dissolve this Current Prabasi Board and work towards forming a newly democratically elected board.
