As a young adult attending high school, I have to use the bathroom, don't you? Now at EHS we are having to fill out an online form just to use the bathroom, and that's only if your teacher says you can use the bathroom. From personal experience, around 80% of the time I ask to use the bathroom, my teacher says no. We won't be taking notes or anything; we will be doing independent work and even if I'm finished they will tell me no. I find this so demeaning and disgusting that they have the right to tell us we can not use the bathroom when we have to go.

Sometimes people are going through things and just need a break from class and need to take a walk. But they are embarrassed to ask to take a walk, so they ask to use the bathroom, but then the teacher says no. That's so hard on a kid to be told they can't go clear their head and take a break.
