MLB players who used steroids, especially in the steroid era, should not be condemned for their actions. Most baseball fans have an unfavorable view of these players and do not acknowledge their stats. Because of fans’ disrespect for these players, they will never be inducted into the baseball hall of fame.

The MLB did nothing to stop its players from using steroids and possibly encouraged the behavior to profit from the many records set. Therefore, the players should not be punished for this and should be treated equally to players who are not accused of using steroids.
