We need to stop incineration, they’re planning on building one about a mile and a half from our quiet, tiny, rural village. We are a conservation village with loads of history and natural habitats surrounding us. Barr say! It won’t affect us or our environment, they will bring jobs to the community, help us heat our homes! Which they have now said they won’t be able to do as this will cost them to much money, we are one of the largest dairy farming areas in Scotland, we produce free range eggs, we have a large No of milk producers, We cannot let this happen. This will affect us all, the countryside, the Environment, Our Children and Grandchildren, The Scottish Government have put a ban on any new incinerators being built with exception to one’s that will take over old incinerators capacity if required. But we The Say NO group believe we do not need anymore, we have more than enough capacity as is, BARRS incinerator may have been in the planning stages so wasn’t classed as a new incinerator so the East Ayrshire council are still allowed to decide whether to pass it. SAY NO!!!! Please sign and help us stop this.
