Dear Mr Joan Laporta, President of Barcelona FC                                                  The New York Times expressed its horror at the massacre of innocent children of Gaza by displaying photos of all 66 children  on its front page, whose only crime was being born Palestinian.   Millions of people across the world including Israel, USA, UK, Spain marched through their streets in condemnation of his horrific  massacre. 

Whilst these children were being buried and whilst hundreds more seriously injured children were unable to reach a hospital because the road was bombed,  the  President of Barcelona FC Joan Laporta was busy putting the final touches to his Barcelona Football Exhibition in Israel - commonly known as THE APARTHEID STATE.  Surviving children have no homes to go to as thousands of homes were deliberately destroyed.

Barcelona FC Joan Laporta have sullied the good name of Barcelona FC, hitherto celebrated world-wide, by siding with the oppressed, and bringing a great club into disrepute, by deliberately taking the side of the extreme racism of the Apartheid regime in such a visibly high profile manner.

Mr Laporta, did you choose the time to express your approval of Apartheid racism to co-inside with the even worse massacre of over 500 Palestinian children in July/Aug 2014?  How could you?  How could you? 

We call on you to cancel this disgraceful farce and issue an apology to the Palestinian people who expect higher standards from Barcelona FC
