Jane Goodall - A World Icon

The Mattel company, makers of the Barbie doll, are creating a new line of dolls, that they hope, will become role models of girls and young women everywhere.  They hope the new role models, will be an inspiration to their cause.  Problem is in their selection.  I have no issue with any of their choices, but if you're going to have, say for example, Bindi a young adult from Australia as your Conservationist representative, how can you leave out Jane Goodall who was a conservationist, scientist, explorer, etc. before Bindi was even born?  While Barbie's creator, Ruth Handler was toying with the idea of a Barbie doll, Jane Goodall was discovering that chimps as well as humans, were both capable of using tools!  Did Mattel do a little research to discover this?  No, more like, who's popular to make some money off of this!  You cannot leave out a person, whose icon tribute, escalates her to the level of Nobelist status!  So please, join me in signing and sharing my petition, to educate others on the role, that made Jane Goodall famous, with her knowledge in reshaping the history of man.
