Ronnie O’Sullivan won his 19th major trophy this evening in a career spanning 25 years. His first major was won 25 years ago at the age of only 17.
In his field he is up there with Roger Federer (20 majors), Jack Nicklaus (18 majors) and Phil Taylor (16 world championships).
Ronnie is a much loved and respected snooker player and would be a popular choice as a nominee. He is in every way a ‘personality’.
