Social workers commit unlimited amounts of time to helping others. With this bill, the social work profession and social workers themselves will be able to do a more accurate, through, and overall beneficial job of helping the American people in all aspects of their lives.
This bill will help recruit, retain, research, and reinvest in the profession of Social Work. The bill strives to help all aspects of underprivileged people including those seeking/using federal agencies such as: agencies within the Department of Health and Human Services, including the Administration for Children and Families, the Administration on Aging, the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the Health Resources and Service Administration, the Indian Health Service, the National Institutes of Health,the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, the Social Security Administration, the Departments of Agriculture, Defense, Education, Homeland Security, Labor, Justice, State, and Veterans Affairs.
Through the bill's necessity for a formed committee and in-depth completed research, Social Workers will be able to strive more than ever.
