The fourth amendment to the Bill of Rights reads:
"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."
You don't need a doctorate in political science to discern that this means Americans are endowed with the right to privacy, and that this privacy may not be infringed without probable cause & permission to do so (a warrant). Under project PRISM, the entire American population have been treated as suspected terrorists, and the fourth amendment has been tossed in the garbage bin.
The paradigm of "innocent until proven guilty" is no longer relevant. Every American is now considered "guilty until proven innocent".
This is not the America that the founding fathers had in mind.
The American people should not tolerate any president that scoffs at the right of the people to be free from intrusion.
We demand that the president is held accountable for endorsing such un-American programs as PRISM.
