We, the undersigned, oppose the designation of 1.4 million acres surrounding Canyonlands National Park as a national monument. We believe that changing the management structure from its current form would not further protect its natural beauty and inhibit economic growth in the region.
We ask you, Mr. President, to not act upon any requests you may receive to the contrary that ask you to designate this land as a national monument.
