I am a female door supervisor I see where I work see bar staff and door staff alike not being able to get home after working long hours not just my venue but across the country is a mass issue we say we want to keep people safe but the ones who work deal with abuse struggle to get home bar staff is a mainly female trade so females are walking home alone security wise we refuse so many have disagreements where people like to wait for us when We wait hours for a taxi after work we wanna go home not worry about being attacked 

regardless to being bar or door-staff we wanna finish work and go home not fight for a taxi some priority needs to be put to the people that help u enjoy your eve the ones  there making sure everyone has a safe night 

just to be able to get home safe knowing bar staff floor staff get home safe after what sometimes can be a long weekend door staff alike when someone finish work they shouldn’t have to fight to get home or feel like they can’t and sleep out till next bus just coz of no taxis something needs to change
