I started this petition because I have seen a lot of evidence involving cruelty to livestock that leave New Zealand Soil. 
by Signing this petition you can show your support to the Government's announcement of a ban on live export by sea by 30 April 2023, but also to express your deep concern for the tens of thousands of animals who will continue to suffer during the one year 'wind down' period. By signing this petition you can try convince the government to explore all the options to end the trade at a earlier time,because with every contract signed thousands of more animals will suffer the journey to a other country.
