Save Bank of Ireland in Limavady

Following confirmation that the Bank of Ireland in Limavady has been earmarked for closure, SDLP MLA Cara Hunter says she is hugely disappointed with this decision and believes banks need to be stopped from abandoning rural communities.

“I have written to the Bank of Ireland urging them to reconsider this decision and to ensure that staff are looked after. This decision has only put added stress and anxiety on dedicated staff who have served the bank for years.”

“Many do not have access to phones or WiFi to conduct their banking needs. Rural people deserve better. I encourage you and your families to sign this petition asking the Bank of Ireland to keep the Limavady branch open.”
