Change the name of the Bank of England to the Bank of UK

As a half Scot I don't understand why the institution that manages UK monetary policy and money supply for the whole of the union is still called the Bank of England (and only England).
The Bank of England's website clearly states that it is the central bank of the United Kingdom (and has been since 1694). So, if the union is precious, it should be given a more appropriate and unifying name.
It could also be called the UK Central Bank or the Bank of the United Kingdom.
