I was out of job for 7 months. I kept asking for loan modification and was bouncing out all over the places, even to Costa Rica where the manager told I will never be qulified for a loan modification and to be ready foreclosure. I got job two months ago, my first reaction was to call Bank of America to see if I can start paying. I was told I should come up with more than $4000.00 to be considered. Two days ago, I called to see what can be done, I have learned that my house is in foreclose and I need to bring up to $11,000 if I want to stay in my house. Working in the past for Bank of America, I know they have a foreberance process that was reported on the news where someone, out of job, can stay in the house up to nine months, and when that person finds a job and is able to pay, Bank of America will work with that person....The last person I spoke with who is in california told me point blank that his words are set in rock. In all letters I have been receiving from Bank of America, or the phone calls made, the first thing I hear or read is : "We are here to help"... So I do need that help BOA.... I need to stay in my home as I am able to offer the monthy payment right now....
