For many years the Roosevelt Union Free School District has used the uniform rule as a form of “discipline and order” when in actuality it blocks it students from being them true selves. People are supposed to feel comfortable in the clothes that they are wearing any by forcing them to wear clothing that they don’t enjoy wearing makes a student feel like a prisoner. And not only that but teachers TAKING OFF POINTS from your grade for not wearing the uniform is disgusting and sickening.  And with your sign you can help change this “rule”.
