Section 21 No fault evictions is being used by greedy landlords to push tenants out of their homes. It is now the second highest main cause for people being homeless. The landlords are moaning about the loss of being able to control who lives in their properties yet as tenants we have no rights when most of us are good tenants who pay our rents on time. Landlords are now abusing this system and kicking tenants out of their homes only to move someone in because they can raise the price of rent more than government regulations allow them to do with the current tenant. This is appalling, as is the reality that the government has done nothing while many families lose their homes. It is 2022, and we must convince Boris Johnson to prohibit the use of section 21 no-fault evictions this year, before many more people are impacted.
