Ban personal Halloween fireworks & firecrackers for the love of animals & burn victims

Every year animal lovers are forced to be on alert for 2-3 weeks leading up to Halloween as firecrackers are made available to anyone (and yes, they do sell to teenagers and kids, or parents buy for them). Firecrackers, which are banned, go off at any time day or night, sometimes even thrown at dogs to freak them out, all leading up to Halloween night where we see kids receive horrible burns, eye damage and injuries from people using fireworks as projectiles and dogs lost and killed as they break free of leashes and run out into traffic and in front of trains, while those kept inside are often tranquilized for the stress of the noise or owners forced to take their pets away for a few days where fireworks are not allowed. I have met kids who lost fingers, a woman who lost her eye and dog owners whose dogs were killed, all caused by fireworks. It's time for a TOTAL BAN on personal fireworks in Vancouver and surrounding municipalities.
