I decided to start this petition because too many staff members at Belleville East District 201 think it's okay to say the "N-word" for educational purposes. This is NOT okay and too many teachers are comfortable with saying it. That word has HISTORY behind it and it should not be used regularly! If you also believe in the same thing, it would mean SO MUCH to me if you'd sign this petition, Thank you! The students at Belleville East are tired of the racist and prejudice comments these teachers have given us throughout the year. We simply do not feel safe around our the staff anymore.  Signing this petition may seem like it's not a big deal, but this is the first small step to a BIG major change...
