Over 70% of labelled recyable plastic ends up in landfill and the rest of it ends up in our beautiful oceans. This causes havoc on our eco system and could be catastrophic in the future if we don't do something about it now. 

We have five times the weight of plastic on this planet than we do our the entire human population. We need to come together and promote the ban of single use plastic on products and food. The supermarkets and suppliers need to be forced to change this with immediate effect. Their are many eco friendly packaging alternatives available. 

Micro plastics have been found in fish and animals for a number if years but recently its been confirmed by scientists that they have found the first traces of micro plastics in human blood. 

We are quite literally drowning in plastic.
