Russian singer Nikolay Baskov is openly expressing his support for Putin’s horrific invasion of Ukraine. Baskov posted on his Instagram stating that “Russia doesn’t start wars” and that Russia’s invasion is “in compliance with international war.” Both of those statements are entirely false, Russia began this horrific war and they’re very clearly murdering innocent civilians. It’s essential that the civilized world helps Ukraine through combating Russian propaganda and punishing those who spread it. Apple music, Spotify, and other streaming platforms must remove Nikolay Baskov’s music from their platforms. We cannot allow people who support Putin’s crimes to have a platform, ban Nikolay Baskov now.
