Already in a liberal state (Washington) the idea of pride and liberalism in general is pushed on the students. Conservative students are oppressed. The school will tell us they support everyone's opinions but try shut us down when voicing a conservative opinion. The common area waves the pride flag high for everyone to see which gives off a oppressing feeling towards student with separate opinions. In this country we believe in freedom and that no one should be oppressed yet when it comes it comes to liberal it's their way or the high way. Students are punished for rightfully taking it down. If you wave the pride flag and show your opinion then I should be able to also show my opinion even if that means taking it down myself. This petition will demand the rightful removal of the pride flag at EHS from the commons area. And request classroom with the pride flag also do so.
