Wrapping paper is filling our landfills as the majority of it is non-recyclable due to glitters and patterns etc. The same goal can be achieved by using a recycled gift bag or fabric. Consider how many special events are celebrated by most of us around the world each day, week, month and year and  think of the immediate waste produced. It is unnecessary and a quick win for the environment.
