Problem
Me along with thousands of other students hate taking a language class. It’s not like we have a say in anything because the district is so oppressive. Wether you speak English or not you are required to take Spanish or Russian for two years in order to graduate from high school.Also what good is a class that no one needs in their life. NOW we have technology with things like google translate or Rosetta Stone yo learn a language or translate it.
Solution
We can solve this by making language classes an elective or only having to take that language for 1 year

My name is Nasri and I am a student at a school in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I am currently in 10th grade and this is my first year of taking Spanish. I HATE SPANISH!!! My teacher gives us to much work and no one cares about it. I have an above 3.5 unweighted gpa and I have to waste my time in high school learning a language that I am never going to use it’s more pointless than have to learn biology. My school also has 88 minute classes so Spanish for that long is absolute hell for me and everyone else in my school.
