For someone like me who grew up in Kiribati, an island nation in the Pacific vulnerable to climate change, I regard an ocean as a supermarket. It is the main source of our survival. Our main economic comes from the ocean. People main protein comes from our vast ocean. Therefore, the ocean needs to be sustained for the next generation.
